Klarus XT2C upgraded to 725 lumens!

Posted on February 07, 2014

Klarus has just made a great tactical torch even better. The XT2C, which is one of our favourite tactical torches, has been upgraded with the latest Cree XM-L2 LED, which has resulted in an increase in lumen output, from 580 to a blinding 725 ANSI lumens. This increase doesn't seem to have had an adverse effect on the runtime - in fact Klarus states a massive 4-hour runtime in high mode, which is more than double that of the earlier 580 lumen version.

As you can imagine, the increase in power has made the strobe mode even more blinding and disorientating, which is good news for tactical and security users of the XT2C. The lower modes have also been beefed-up, with medium mode kicking out 180 lumens and low mode a respectable 5 lumens.

The Klarus XT2C is on sale now from TacLight with no price increase - it's still only £54.95. Grab one for yourself...
