KLARUS has just whacked-up the power of their popular XT11 tactical flashlight to an eye-melting 2,000 lumens, produced by the latest CREE XPH35 HD E4 LED. They have also added the 'GT' badge to the name as a hint at its performance boost. The XT11 GT beam is seriously bright for a flashlight of this size. When the XT11 first launched a few years ago it was 600 lumens and tactical people from all over the world bought it for the bright light and innovative dual button tail switch, which gave the user a choice of high mode or a blinding strobe directly from an off-state, which is very effective at putting the enemy on the back foot.

Dual button tail switch on the KLARUS XT11 GT

Today, the XT11 GT is a very different beast, packed full of modern technology. It still has the trademark tactical bezel and dual-button tail switch, but the strobe button is now a wide paddle for faster activation. There’s also a mini USB charging port for charging the unit and the addition of a side button, giving you the option to use the XT11 GT as a standard torch. The GT can be weapon-mounted and used with the KLARUS remote switch for fast activation.

There is now mode-memory and the torch is programmable, so you can set it up the way you want it – for tactical use, work, security, dog walking, camping, etc. This feature alone makes it one of the most versatile tactical flashlights available today. Production is slow on the GT, so get yours while you can.
